Occupational Therapy is…
A child’s occupation is any meaningful activity they do to occupy their day. Mostly, their job is to play.
If a child has any difficulty completing a task and requires more help than other children their age, they may benefit from occupational therapy. If the difficulty or challenge is impacting their ability to function in daily life, then they would benefit from OT.
OT can look different for each individual child. It depends on what your child’s present level is and what goals you have as a family.
