Kara Mihelich
Hi, I’m Kara, the owner and director of Fountain Pediatrics. I have over 14 years of experience as an OT in sensory integration clinics, schools, homes and backyards.
In 2009, I graduated from Western Michigan University with my Masters degree in OT and then collected experience working in Tampa Bay, FL. In 2017 I briefly relocated to my home state, Michigan to work in a pediatric hospital setting.
I also spent two years in Los Angeles, where I continued my education, completing the Sensory Integration Certification at the University of Southern California. I spent my time there learning from and treating alongside the best OTs in the field of sensory integration at a unique outdoor clinic in Santa Monica before returning to Florida to start this business.
I am grateful to bring tailored and personalized OT to the greater Tampa Bay community, where I have planted a piece of my heart.
Some of my favorite things: Living close to the water, baking bread, watching children learn, traveling, yoga and cooking with my family.
